Prince Harry arrives at the Royal Courts of Justice on March 30, 2023 in London, England.
Prince Harry has lost a legal challenge to seek the right to pay for his police protection while in Britain, London’s High Court ruled on Tuesday in a series of legal cases the Duke of Sussex is pursuing in the country.
The challenge was a legal attempt to maintain the duke’s police protection given to royalty and public figures after he stepped down as acting royal.
A judicial review has now been denied for this claim, stated Mr. Justice Chamberlain.
This trial is one of several ongoing trials that Prince Harry is involved in in the UK. He is expected to return to London next month to testify in a separate trial regarding phone-hacking claims against Mirror Newspaper Group (MNG), which started on May 10 and is expected to last seven weeks.
